Service to civil society

Awakening and presence of the Church at the advent of democracy (preparatory colloquium for the National Conference in which Nicéphore Soglo, future Prime Minister and President of the Republic, Maurice Ahanhanzo Glèlè, drafter of the National Constitution, Albert Tévoédjrè, future Minister of Planning and Economic Restructuring).

 Support for the creation of a local development association: APICA (association for the promotion of African community initiative) whose objective is to promote intelligence and effective and transparent implementation of the three instances of democracy (the legislative, executive and judiciary) at the ward and village levels. This association had, to its credit, the revitalization of a socio-economic and cultural structure such as the craft of weaving initiated two centuries earlier by King Agonglo, who was an eminent figure in the promotion of the freedom of individuals and communities, in conjunction with UNESCO and the Beninese Center for Sustainable Development.
