Constitution and formation of the subject creator and manager of culture

The first result is the constitution and formation of the subject who creates and manages culture. This training has developed in two directions:

 Towards the wise Africans who gradually awakened to their true cultural identity. They have understood that they are not only living “libraries” of the African tradition but also and above all authentic intellectuals operating in a community regime, hence the name of “community intellectuals” that the Sillon Noir has given them.
 For young university students. The Sillon Noir has trained about thirty in different fields of knowledge and who have succeeded in developing not only a methodology of community intellectuality, but also a theory and an approach to interdisciplinarity and interculturality. Graduates of the most prestigious universities in France, Germany and Italy, they have invested in various sectors of African life: some have worked in the regional offices of organizations such as the UNDP, the Beninese Center for Sustainable Development , while being present on the ground (aid to refugees in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Liberia, etc.); others engaged in educational work (at secondary and higher level), in the promotion of democracy and human rights; still others in the health sector; others finally, in political life, and became ministers or leaders of political parties, etc. All, through their professional commitment, sought, not without difficulty, to promote the values of freedom and human development rooted in the Christian faith .
 Of the young people trained by the Sillon Noir, some have become priests or religious (in various orders and congregations). They invest today in the formation of formators, in the promotion of an authentically inculturated pastoral ministry, in the constitution of grassroots communities which are true reflections of a Church-Family of God, of a Church- Fraternity…
