Cooperation
The CRS-NDI, in fidelity to its origins - the Sillon Noir having been born on a Day of Missions as a research group on cultures -, designs its cooperation policy according to two major axes:
- missionary cooperation;
- scientific cooperation.
1. Missionary cooperation
It was mainly organized at the local level towards the Dioceses and Institutes of Consecrated Life and societies of apostolic life, and at the international level towards groups of national episcopal conferences.
2. Scientific cooperation
The first student researchers of the future CRS-NDI having been mobilized from the Department of Sociology-Anthropology of the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences of the National University of Benin, the first scientific partner of the Center was the Laboratory of Sociology , Anthropology and African Studies. The collaboration was then built with the Major Seminaries of Benin and the sub-region, various African Research Centers, and the Catholic University of West Africa. Internationally, with the Schülerkreis Joseph Ratzinger, the Collège des Bernardins, and many other research institutions.
