Pastoral and Mission Center for CERAO

Another major project where the collaboration of the QIC Center and then of the CRS-NDI stood out is the creation and animation of the CERAO Center for Pastoral Care and Mission (CCPM).

Appointed Secretary of the Regional Episcopal Commission for Traditional African Religions (RTA) and Secretary of the Regional Episcopal Commission for Consecrated Life at the CERAO level, the Director of the Q.I.C. Center, Abbé Edouard ADE, worked to bring together all the research effort of the Center towards the work of the CERAO, in a new space of theological and pastoral collaboration: the CERAO Center of Pastoral and Mission (CCPM). This Center which emerged within the General Secretariat of CERAO was designed to make possible the articulation between the university elaborations of the UCAO, the field work of the research centers and the rise of the ecclesial life made by the pastors. who are no less theologians. This original convergence, which aimed to allow the Church in the CERAO space to take full measure of its patristic age, gave rise to far-reaching theological and pastoral meetings.
